There's a difference between welcoming and understanding
This is a genuinely affirming space, not a tickbox one. You won’t need to explain the basics before we get to what you actually came in for. We can go straight into the fuller picture of gender, sex and relationship diversity together, kink included, not just the parts that are easiest to say out loud.
HOW I WORK
Client led, not prescriptive
Sessions are collaborative. We work at your pace, around what you actually want and need, not what you’ve been told you should want. For some people that’s a handful of sessions focused on one specific issue, for others it’s longer term work exploring identity, desire and connection over time. Either way, the direction is set together.
What we work on
The full range, not just the obvious bits
Psychosexual and relationship therapy covers more ground than people expect. Here’s some of what regularly comes up in sessions, though this list isn’t exhaustive. If you don’t see your situation reflected, get in touch and ask.
For the full list of psychosexual and relationship issues I can help with head to these pages:
Sexual identity & orientation
Explore this at any age or stage of life, including coming out later on. There's no timeline you're expected to be on, whether it's a first exploration or years of unpacking.
Gender identity & dysphoria
Room to explore gender, name and pronouns, with no fixed endpoint you're expected to land on. This includes support around dysphoria and transition-related decisions.
Non-monogamous & multi-partnered relationships
Ethical non-monogamy, polyamory and relationship structures outside the default, worked with as valid ways of relating rather than something to correct.
Kink & BDSM
A valid focus in its own right, not something to pathologise or fix. We can look at communication, consent and safety within kink and power exchange dynamics.
Relationships & intimacy
Communication, trust and connection, in relationships of any shape, whether that's a couple, a throuple, or something you're still figuring out how to describe.
Sex worker inclusive
Informed by dedicated Sex Worker Awareness Training (2026), so your work doesn't need to be explained or justified before we start.
Getting started
Sessions, in person or online
Sessions run online across the UK, or in person in Brighton, whichever suits you better. Most people start with a free initial consultation, a low pressure way to ask questions and get a feel for whether we’re a good fit before committing to ongoing therapy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to already know how I identify to book?
No. Sessions can be exactly where you explore and figure that out, in your own time, with no pressure to land on an answer by a certain date.
Are non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships something you actually work with, or just tolerate?
I actively work with them. Ethical non-monogamy and multi-partnered relationships are part of my core client focus, not an edge case.
Is kink or BDSM treated as something to fix?
No. Kink and BDSM are treated as valid, not something to pathologise, unless there’s a part of it that doesn’t feel good to you and you want to look at that.
Do you work with trans and non-binary clients?
Yes. I welcome all gender identities.
Do you offer online therapy if I'm not near Brighton?
Yes. Sessions run online across the UK, so LGBTQ+ affirming psychosexual and relationship therapy is available wherever you’re based.
What happens in the first session?
The free initial consultation is a chance to talk through what’s brought you here, ask questions, and decide together whether ongoing sessions feel right. This is not a therapy session.
Not quite ready for Sex & Relationship Therapy?
I have created an in-depth online course that you can complete in your own time on neurodivergence and intimacy. Easy to follow and recorded like a podcast, so you don't have to read lots.
